1. The service and its providers
Terapeuta Ideal is a technology platform operated by the company identified above. It provides patient management, scheduling, communication, video sessions, care records, documents and payment tracking, according to the plan and available features.
Care is provided by the responsible professional or clinic, which determines clinical conduct and agreements with the patient. The company is responsible for its technology services; providing the platform does not certify professional qualifications or guarantee therapeutic outcomes.
The platform is not an emergency service and does not continuously monitor messages or sessions to detect emergencies. Seek an appropriate emergency service in urgent situations. Professionals must explain contact options and procedures for interruptions or urgent care needs.
2. Reading the terms and contracting
These terms establish conditions for using platform features. Read them before contracting and check the offer’s features, price, billing frequency, limits and duration. A specific offer forms part of the agreement and does not override statutory rights.
Viewing this page does not itself record contractual acceptance. Contracting must allow prior knowledge of the conditions and confirmation of the user’s choice. Accepting use terms does not replace specific recording consent or other data processing authorizations.
3. Accounts, credentials and authorized use
- Provide accurate details and keep contacts current. Professional accounts must be used by a person with capacity to contract or an authorized organizational representative.
- Protect passwords, verification codes and access links. Do not share credentials; use available roles and permissions to give others access where supported.
- Access only records and sessions you are authorized to use. Report suspected unauthorized access and cooperate with necessary account recovery checks.
- Care involving children and adolescents must respect their best interests and legally and professionally required representation and authorizations.
4. Professional and patient responsibilities
Professionals must maintain required qualifications and registration, assess suitability for remote care, explain services, respect confidentiality and obtain necessary authorizations. They are responsible for records they confirm and compliance with their professional standards. Entering a registration number does not mean verification by the professional council.
Professionals and patients must agree directly on care fees, duration, appointments, rescheduling, missed sessions and cancellations, subject to law. Patients should provide relevant information truthfully and use an appropriate private setting for care.
Users entering representatives, emergency contacts or other people’s details must have grounds to use them and limit them to what is necessary. The platform retains its own security, privacy and service responsibilities.
5. Use license and prohibited conduct
During authorized access, we grant a limited, non-exclusive license to use the software for its offered purposes, including the subscriber’s professional and commercial practice. This does not transfer ownership of the software, brand or other platform elements.
- Do not use the platform for fraud, discrimination, harassment, unlawful content or infringement of other people’s rights or confidentiality.
- Do not access other people’s accounts or records without authorization, exploit vulnerabilities, introduce malware, overload the service or bypass security controls or contracted limits.
- Do not resell access or copy or distribute the software or brand without authorization. Statutory permissions and expressly available integrations, exports and authorized sharing are preserved.
- Do not record or disclose care without necessary authorizations. Do not enter real patient data in the demo environment.
6. Demonstration and interest forms
The demo lets you explore features with fictional data. Some operations are simulated and do not create real care, charges, outbound messages or production clinical processing. Visitor demo access lasts 24 hours and does not create a paid subscription. The tutorial for authenticated professionals follows their login session expiry.
The “Try it now” form records contact details and offers optional questions. It does not book care or promise a free session: we do not currently offer free therapist sessions. Budget ranges express preferences rather than advertised prices.
Any plan trial offer must separately disclose duration, features, limits and billing conditions. A demo is not presumed to convert into a paid subscription.
7. Plans, prices and platform billing
The offer and contracting confirmation must disclose price, currency, frequency and included features. Recurring subscriptions are processed through Stripe and renew on the contracted cycle while active. Specific contracts or external payments follow their confirmed offer.
Paid features depend on plan conditions and valid contracting and payment. Overdue payment, expiration or cancellation may restrict editing. Check amounts and contract status in the subscription area or through support.
Changes to prices, limits or essential features must be communicated before affecting the agreement. They do not retroactively change paid periods; material changes must allow evaluation of the new offer and cancellation of future renewals.
8. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds
Cancel recurring subscriptions in the subscription area. This stops the next renewal and keeps contracted access until the current period ends. For specific contracts or if that feature is unavailable, request cancellation by email.
Where Brazil’s Consumer Protection Code applies to a distance contract, consumers may exercise withdrawal within 7 days of contracting or receiving the service, as applicable, with repayment under the law. Contact us with the account and contract information.
Cancelling renewal differs from requesting a refund. Refunds outside statutory withdrawal depend on valid offer conditions and the circumstances, without removing rights for incorrect charges or service defects. Using the software does not remove mandatory consumer rights.
9. Care payments and cancellations
Software subscription fees are separate from professional care fees. Patient payment tracking records information: entering an amount, marking a receipt or reversing a record does not transfer money, collect payment automatically or issue a refund.
Professionals must verify records and agree lawful payment conditions with patients, including missed or cancelled sessions. Platform tracking documents do not replace required tax or professional documentation.
10. Optional recording and AI outputs
The Federal Council of Psychology (CFP) advises that psychologists may record sessions when necessary for professional use, with the patient’s knowledge and agreement about the recording and its purpose, while preserving confidentiality.
Audio recording is optional and requires specific informed authorization. Refusal or withdrawal does not cancel care. Online patients may change their choice; for the in-person feature, when enabled, the professional must obtain authorization and record their confirmation.
Authorized audio and text may be processed by providers including OpenAI and Replicate for transcripts, summaries, suggested progress notes and reports about people and relationships mentioned in care. This involves potentially sensitive data and must be explained to patients.
AI output may contain omissions, incorrect attribution or inaccuracies. Professionals must review and correct it before use in records or decisions. Automatically generated output is not a diagnosis or signed professional document and does not replace clinical judgment.
Withdrawal prevents new recording once applied; it does not automatically erase earlier audio or documents. Already submitted audio may finish processing. Retention and erasure requests follow the Privacy Policy and applicable legal duties.
11. Records, documents and privacy
Platform use does not transfer users’ rights in their records and documents to the company or limit data subjects’ rights. Users authorize only operations necessary for requested features, within applicable legal grounds and instructions, not a general license to publish or advertise using clinical content.
Professionals may keep copies and use available exports for their practice, respecting confidentiality, access and retention requirements. These features do not promise complete data export in a single file or certified digital signatures.
Archiving, plan cancellation and deleting a note in the interface do not necessarily mean permanent erasure. Access, correction and erasure requests go through the privacy channel, taking retention duties and individual rights into account.
The Privacy Policy describes data, purposes, providers, international processing, cookies and rights. These terms do not grant general authorization to process sensitive data.
12. Availability, support and interruptions
Video sessions depend on participants’ connections, equipment, permissions and network conditions. Maintenance, failures or integrated-service outages may occur. Uninterrupted connectivity or a specific service level is not guaranteed unless expressly included in the offer or contract.
These limitations do not remove the company’s duty to provide adequate services and address failures under its responsibility. Professionals must arrange an alternative contact method for interrupted sessions. Do not rely on the platform as the only way to obtain urgent care.
Send contracting, cancellation, information and complaint requests to the contact below. Electronic consumer transactions follow applicable statutory support procedures and deadlines, including responses within 5 days to requests covered by Decree No. 7,962/2013.
13. Access restrictions and termination
An ended paid plan may block changes while keeping available patient and session viewing features. This does not guarantee indefinite storage or replace professional retention duties and access request obligations.
Access may also be restricted to contain concrete security risks, fraud, unlawful use or a material breach of these terms. Measures must be proportionate, with reasons and an appeal channel unless prohibited by law or inconsistent with immediate protection.
Access restrictions do not authorize appropriation of clinical records or remove statutory access and portability rights. Ask the contact channel about preserved data; account termination does not mean immediate erasure.
14. Responsibility, changes and dispute resolution
Each party is responsible for its activities and legal duties. Clinical outcomes are not guaranteed, but this does not exclude responsibility for service defects, privacy breaches or other legally recognized circumstances. No clause removes mandatory consumer rights or creates a general liability exclusion for the company.
Updates appear with a revision date. Material contractual changes require prior notice, agreement where required and preservation of contracted conditions. Visiting the website does not automatically accept new obligations.
Brazilian law applies, including data protection and consumer protection where applicable. Contact support to try to resolve problems; this does not prevent access to authorities or courts. We do not impose mandatory arbitration or a venue that undermines consumers’ statutory access rights.
